and some songs on WAPJ... Hosted by Wilbert Boles
(WIBO).... The crowd outside could hardly be contained.
They braved the cold of zero degrees hanging outside the

Recent trip to the West Coast allowed me to spin around
Seattle and get some coffee at the FIRST Starbucks ever !!
It's a little ole' coffee house at Pike Place Market. A little hard
work later, they are on every corner... Literally...
Here I am in the Medulla
Oblongata of The Dead Heads...
That's right, The "Haight Ashbury"
district of San Francisco... This
hip street corner sits "High" on the
hills of a very colorful, free lovin'
place... It's easy going all day,
unless you are looking for a
parking place...
Radio interview on WZBG
The outstanding folks at
WZBG 97.3FM invited Ian
to come in for an interview
by their morning show
personality / DJ, Dale
Jones... They discused
Ian's career and played
live and acoustic on the
air...

A bunch of good friends hiked deep into
the Grand Canyon and spent a glorious
week in the sun... Truly one of the
wonders of the world, we hiked down
break-neck canyon walls, over
mushroom rocks, into the deep narrow
canyons and back... We feasted on
dehydrated cowboy chow and played my
"backpacker guitar" while the sun went
down... We spent an entire afternoon on
these mushroom rocks (below) and we
all had pretty spiritual experiences... I
guess when you standing in the middle
of the Grand Canyon, these experiences
come with the price of admission...
